Tunic Productions is a New York-based team of film and media professionals working to bring stories to life.
Company founder, dancer, actress, and producer Cecilia Seaward hails from Boston with roots in Sweden and over ten years of experience in the performing arts and entertainment industry. Her creations have been shown at festivals and venues spanning from Boston to NYC to Athens to Budapest. Cecilia's 2018 experimental film Sacred Geometry was named official selection for the Buskopolis Festival of Cinematic Oddities in 2019 as well as the Crossroads Festival in San Francisco in 2020. Notable credits include playing Christen in Step 9, Vanda in Enduring: A Mother's Story, the Desert Goddess in Luna Achiary's Uku music video and Carol on CBS's Bull. In 2018, Cecilia was one of five performers selected for the Instabili Vaganti Work Session in Bologna, Italy and in 2019 she was one of twelve artists selected for the Gil Artist Residency in Akureyri, Iceland. She directed the 2019 short film Porcelain Doll which was named Official Selection for the 2020 Uptown Women's Film Festival of NY, the 2020 Cayenne Film Festival, and Official Selection for the 2020 Best Director Award Festival.
Serife Potuk is a cinematographer, writer, and director of photography originally from Turkey. She has been writing and producing her own films since 2015 and is a graduate of the New York Digital Film Academy. Serife has experience working on new media productions, commercial shoots, music videos, short films and feature length films. Her short film Butterfly, which she wrote and shot in 2016, was selected for the Manhattan Film Festival, Queens World Film Festival, Life Long Island International Film Expo, and the Brightside Tavern Short Film Festival where it was nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Short. Serife worked as assistant director on The Long Haul and cinematographer on Enduring: A Mother's Story. She most recently worked as the cinematographer of Porcelain Doll and Step 9. Serife is also a founding member of Tunic Productions.
Miriam Pinedo is an award-winning actress, writer, singer, producer, and media professional originally from Venezuela. Miriam played Maggy in the feature 2016 film Translucido. She wrote the film Steven which won Best Comedy at the 2018 AMAW Film Festival in NYC. She also won Best Performance for her portrayal of Martha in the feature film Enduring: A Mother's Story at the Hollywood North Film Awards in 2019. Miriam recently played Lisa in Porcelain Doll which she also wrote and co-produced. Miriam is a founding member of Tunic Productions. Miriam's original script The Poet won Best Short Screenplay at the Screenwriter Master Awards in 2020 and was selected for the Austin Spotlight Film Festival in 2020.
